Misty Ruppert, MD

I enjoy building long-term relationships with my patients. To me, patient-doctor teamwork is crucial in medicine, therefore I want each patient to understand their condition and be able to take an active role in their care. I entered into the medical profession to help people in my community, and it is my passion to use my training and skillset to provide the best care for each one of my patients.

I chose ophthalmology because I am fascinated by the complexity of the eye and in awe of the massive impact this small organ has on our life’s journey. I completed my medical training in Texas prior to joining Berkshire Eye Center. It has been a joy to experience life in the Berkshires, and I am grateful for the strong sense of community here. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, spending time with my family, and learning languages.
